Besides, people shouldn't have to chase him down for answers. Seems like it's only two of us that didn't get our CDs from him here, but I wonder how many other people elsewhere also got stiffed. As the artist you'd think he'd have a higher level of service/integrity than any reseller since it affects his reputation. Especially in such a small music community.

hearing the album live on loud speakers sounded great, but now hearing the album its not as good as the last album, the dubby basslines are gone, and now replaced with breakbeat style basslines! i prefer dubby basslines all the way! i think him working with system 7 changed his style somewhat! hopefully he changes it back!!!!

I made this for Ross and Mr Slackbaba as a labour of love, and then was told that unfortunately they didn't like it....
Gutting.... So I never completely finished it, but put it up 80% done anyway.

^I think your video is really cool, man! I love all the dancing happy characters and the vibrant mushroom world the whole thing moved through.
I can't believe you made them this awesome video on your own initiative and they just told you they didn't like it; you'd have to be a real prick to respond this way to free promotion

That's abit harsh on them tbh. Yeah it was disappointing from my side, but it would of been worse had they been full of false praise. I'd rather the honest truth, than insincere flattery, no matter how well intentioned. And it did make me look at my own work from a different perspective, I mean there is something a bit kitsch and garish about it in some ways, that I think is a sign of my own amateurishness. On the otherhand I think the western esoteric method/tradition is sensory overload rather than sensory deprivation as commonly typified in "eastern/oriental ways", which is a philosophy/belief/theory that "colours" my art.
