I don't get the responses so far.

This is exactly what I thought Slackbaba's new album would sound like. It's like his first album + Flooting Grooves + Electrypnose.

It's a wonderful album.

Well I can understand both sides. Yes, sometimes it sounds childish, but at other times it sounds quiet cool and creative to me.

Still no answer.

My local web store nobient.pl has it in stock since last week or something (thanks Arabesque). But all those people@Liquid are too busy to reply to an email (not to mention fuckin' shiping one cd abroad)?

What a fuckin' shame.

Another thing (maybe I'm too cheap - tell me):

so many times, after I have approached labels directly, I have heard they will sell their releases to me for MORE than distributors/local shops .... WTF?

Forgive me my ignorance in this matter but:

I would suspect they would make more money when selling their releases to their customers@the same price, than retailers selling it for LESS.

I'm suspecting there's something going on among lines of the contracts with major distributors (I might be wrong though).

PS. I kinda know for how much artist/label sells its stock to the major retail outlet

PS. If I'm wrong just tell me to shut the fuck up.           http://www.chillumafia.com

liquid is not solid

try this ones: (the other 2 bosses together with Ross and Johnny/slack)

jeremy@liquid-records.com
liquidjames@gmail.com (Atomic Drop)

i can pm you mobile numbers too if you want to get nasty.

WTTF->

(about your suspicions...you smell right man...I can talk about the digital distro....many labels prefer to sell from Beatport, Addictech or other digital shops more than from their website because they want to be visible in the charts of those shops...it drives much more customers to their music than selling directly...law of the market...a smelly market)

Not worth the hassle. Turned it over to Paypal. What a shitty way to do business. There's always potential for delays with distribution, but at least respond to requests for status and let people know what is going on. >:/

Finally got a message from Ross:

"will be in the post to you Monday... massive apologies for the delay some have gone out and a few still haven't..."

We'll see ...

:/

I guess it's better to do the business with local shops and support people running them.          http://www.chillumafia.com

That's too bad, the last things labels need in this day & age when sales are so low anyway is shitty service. It's not hard to ship CDs unless you have literally thousands more orders than you were expecting.

I usually stick with Saiko Sounds for buying CDs from labels I don't really know.           Wait.....What?

I had to go through Paypal to get a refund. ZERO response from anyone at LR. Another person (points above) did get a reply from Ross, was told CDs would be sent, never got 'em. You'd think that in an age where so few people actually buy music and support the label that a label wouldn't want to screw a paying customer over. :/

The CD came one day after I placed my order at Nobient.pl. It always pays off to support local shops.           www.ektoplazm.com/2011/panta-deus - download for free Psytrance.pl's 10th anniversary compilation featuring 100% Polish psy-music (goa, prog, dark, full-on, chillout): Artha, Sundial Aeon and many more
