Yeah, most musicians are insulted if you call their music boring.

is it cheese an insult ?

Likewise, yes.
You went too far and made an unprovoked attack on another artist, I called you out on it, and now you're trying to pretend that it wasn't rude after all.
You know what? If you calmly, politely explained, "I don't like this album because of X and Y" without the mocking, derisive tone you took, I doubt anybody would have a problem with it. Least of all me. There's constructive criticism and there's rudeness. This is the latter.

but excuse me...if you started this topic with an hollywood style exclamation saying:
PAY ATTENTION EVERYONE...THIS IS THE SOUND OF THE FUTURE !
this might be insulting for someone...at least for all those ones who don't think that there is any future in this music.

|
Jesus, sue me for being hyperbolic. So I got excited about something I liked. Excuse me for not being urbane and snobby. I also happen to think that what Slackbaba's doing is indicative of the way a lot of psydub music is progressing. But you don't actually want to discuss that, do you?
And your argument that "If you say you like something I don't like, it's an insult to me?" That's so ridiculous it doesn't even deserve to be addressed.

calling me a dick is an insult...but do not worry...I am not getting upset for such tiny words.

Well, I think belittling a fellow psychill artist on a small community message board is pretty dickish. Like I said, there's a big difference between offering your opinion in a way that respects others (including those you disgree with) and offering it in a way that derides them. It's a basic social skill that most people know, but for some reason we think it's optional on the Internet. On a board like this, though, for a community as small as ours, it's really not an option.

allright...
since you didn't get it...I wasn't deriding Slackbaba but actually you...yourself...and your hollywood way of presenting his album...this is why you actually got so upset...I touched your ego pirippippero...
so now let's start with the proper insults now...since you asked for it....I am a dick and you are a cunt...
since you analyze my critics...let's analyze your praising instead...
you didn't explain why this album is the sound of the future and why is soo good...you just CLAIM it...with strong statements...and now you make a big story because someone did contradict you...
and you attack me because I do music...so I cannot express my opinions...you don't attack O-I instead...WHY ?...are you looking for fame ?
you take yourself far too seriously and you cannot take other ppl opinions when they are different from yours...a childish attitude very common on this pages full of brown noses like yours.
a fellow psychill artist !!!???
bollocks...you are only mobbing forgettin to listen...to the music...
anyway...mr Interchill did a topic about this kind of bullshits:
http://forum.isratrance.com/mauzone/
go and enjoy yourself there.
get a life Herbivore...the future hasn't come yet.

Maux, you know what you said and so do I. It was uncivil and inappropriate. If you are too socially inept to understand that, no words from me will change that.
I would be more than happy to have an actual conversation about music with you, but I don't think that's what you're trying to do, in this discussion or others on this board. If you do want to talk about music like grown-ups, just let me know.
That said, I'm going to stop feeding the troll now. Goodbye.

Back on track .... did anyone experience any delays with receiving this cd from Liquid Records?
I have ordered it 2 weeks ago and still waiting for the album.
My order status on their shop's website still says: "payment received".
Tried to contact them via email provided on label's website and Facebook. No luck.
WTF?

I got it for super cheap off the Amie street website.
definitely a more mainstream dancey sound than the last one, imo. Not really my cup of tea. |

I have "borrowed" copy. I like it. Maybe it is the audio equivalent of reading a comic book but some songs really strike a chord with me. I like the song "Domain" quite a bit. Either way, the entire album makes (for me) for some nice upbeat background music. |
