great way of communication and a must for labels and artists.... fast file transfer and no more massive telephone bills.
it takes a couple of minutes to download the program for free.
u can talk up to 5 diffirent people at the same time anywhere in the world... best used for bookings

Indeed great stuff!
For additional (really small) fee you can call to the usual telephones and cellphones around the world.
I just talked with Canada for a half hour and paid less than 20 euro cents.

Yes I have been using this for quite a while and it's top notch audio conversation, also adio conv. with more then 1 person, and it's free if you conatct people using skype and if you call on a phone like pavel said it's penuts cheap !

we have been using ichat for a while but then not everybody is on a mac, so it makes skype the one!!!

the idea sounds great! i heard that icq 5 will have the same option... couldnt wait so i download and installed it..  but no one that i know uses it and no one to talk with

u should get ur friends on it at least!!!
u don't need anymore the use of mobile phones!!!
u could always search for friends as well........

and i dont want to search and talk with people that i dont know and dont know me... at least to know them from a forum or something like that
