hey guys, sup ?
i would like to coment one thing..first i don't know Skazi...just is/them music.
and to be honest i used to enjoy it alot..the old tracks..nowdays his/they work is not so great in my personal opinion and taste. but i respect him/them anyway as musician/s as i allways did.
but the true think i would like to expose here, is taht..ehave you ever notice that when someone post about skazi...everyone gives is opinion? the biggest fan...or the biggest skazi hater..but everyone want's to say a workd..just look to the posts about skazi here..are the ones with so many replies... ehehe
no matter if you like it or not...but don't you agree that him/they is/are the one/s o 'moves' the masses in this style?!
why's that ? becose of the 'pop trance style' that some one talked about?
is that so called 'pop trance style' invading the psycomunity ?
i'm curious...

Yes, Skazi is a very good producer, really make the dance floor bomb, hehehehehehe, BOOM to say anything more correct...i don´t like much the style, but for sure he is a good one!!!! He knows how to amaze peoples!!!

i have never had the displeasure of such a set as i heard from this man this weekend. what an overrated artist. i cannot fathom the allure of his music, such monotonous and irritating music i have not yet encountered...

Skazi is/are obviously very good at producing tracks with tonnes of unique Skazi-style hardcore full-on energy which makes people go wild on the dancefloor, and i have great respect for that. Most of the tracks are quite catchy the first time you hear them...
But for me, it ends there.
The biggest problem for me is that there is just TOO MUCH Skazi being played! One skazi track or two here and there is fine with me, it works in small doses, but it is way to simple and sterile to actually work over and over again!
At Fullmoon Festival in germany this year they played many of Skazi's hits over and over and over and over and OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN, and it get's on my f***ing nerves! It felt like listening to NRG or some other ultracommercial radio station or something!!
To me, Skazi is just waay too predictable.
The breaks are more or less the same in every track (what's up with that backwards kick?? does it have to be in EVERY track?!)
The rock guitars have become more of an unbreakable Rule than a Nice Spice (once on Fullmoon me and a friend were sitting listening to some dj play some track that we hadn't heard before but it sounded exactly like the typical Skazi style, and we said "all that's missing from the Skazi-Formula(tm) now is a rock guitar", and of course, ten seconds later comes the guitar, as predictable as clockwork!!)
Except for the melodies in the "i wish"-remix, there's (to my mind at least) not a shred of warmth & emotion anywhere, it's all just Hard Sterile Aggression and very little else.
And the thing that bothers me the most is the lack of psychedelia.. To me it doesn't at all feel like trance, joy, creativity, flow, love, dynamic-ness(?), or any of the things that i love about psytrance.. To me it just feels like blunt, flat, heavily ego-tripped manifestations of agression.
On last year's Fullmoon, i was dancing my ass off and tripping my head off when Astral Projection was playing (oh man they were GOoOoOD), and it was all just pure psychedelic orgasmic mayhem.. But then Skazi takes over and plays all of hiss hardcore hits, all of the heavy metal remixes, all of the prodigy remixes... And it felt like i was hit by a hammer in the head and FORCED to come back to earth and back to all the ego games of ordinary life. The music was just so UNpsychedelic that my trip went straight into a brick wall and just stopped!
IMO, psytrance is supposed to be trance-inducing, ego-dissolving, boudary-challenging: psychedelic! But Skazi feels only like Ego-music: physical, hormonal, hard, cold, agressive, ego-game-energy.. Which is fine in small doses(!!) but it gets tiresome very quickly.

No Psychedelia = No Hallucinations
No Hallucinations = No 'Psychedelic' Trance
No 'Psychedelic' Trance = NOT INTERESTED........
Skazi seems to be one of the most popular and most discussed artists on here..........
Just goes to show us what the majority of people on IsraTrance fancy........ It's a shame really!!
