he uses the same formula for 2 years...
,aint it's borring to create basicly the same track over & over again in differant versions?

I used to be a big Skazi fan on their first album Animal but IMO their second album Storm Just doesn't capture my full attention. I think it's because i just got tired of their formula . Too bad huh hope they can make better and different stuff next time!!

Well I think that every artist who find some good formula will have this kind of problem. Itīs only cause they FIND an own FORMULA. And imo formula is not a good work to describe it. Itīs theirs STYLE. Skazi style, GMS style, Talamasca style... And I think weird that many full-on artisit have this problem, while progressive artists can work without it.
I really like progressive, but Bitmonx also have a style, and he makes many similar-formula tracks. And why ppl donīt blame Bitmonx? IMO cause itīs not killer as the full-on tunes. Killer tracks tend to be overplayed, and ppl will be sick of them(and sick of the style) further than others.

I got your point Yossi. But even Skazi using what ppl call formula, it has Asherīs STYLE. And thatīs what matter for me. Also for GMS. I think noone can say that they donīt have a style. And I think soon or later ppl will blame Astrix, Ari Linker, and others that have a good formula, but with great style.
I donīt know why ppl talk about Skazi and GMS formula so much... Itīs all matter of taste. I think itīs the same as saying that Ramones(sorry but thatīs my best example) is sucks cause all tracks sounds the same. I think itīs great! Ramones style!!! Or u can say Ramones formula. For sure Joey was pretty proud of it.

I think SKAZI loves JAPAN. ASHER stayed in japan for over a month i think. He was playing all over Japan. i think he had a good promotion of his album and music.
I like his music too its good hard pounding stuff. |
