hmmm....
We have a bit of a difference here from the forums you're used to, I'm afraid. Let me clear that for all involved.
Here we say what we like and we discuss things and thoughts with people from all over the world- we just want it done with respect.
That you completely fail to do mate (and not only you)... which is why this is not a discussion, but a fight full of insults.
So either you guys start talking about things with respect to the others involved ( which means, for Skazi, for his mother, for his crack, for the people who like his music, for the people who can't even hear it from 2 miles, for the people who warship him, for the people who think his music is the same as The Doors, etc. etc.)- or you go talking somewhere else.
You can talk with respect even about someone who makes music you don't like.
I'll give you an example and go back on topic at the same time.
I don't really like Skazi's music- first it's way too noisy for me- I'm over that stage in my life, and when I do feel like listening to some hard rocking noise I go back to my large collection of metal CDs and LPs, which has enough masterpieces in it to satisfy me.
I kinda liked the first Skazi album, though it was still a bit too much of an offensive assault on my old ears as a whole album. Still, it was raw, it was rough, it was hungry and it was rocking the floor. There are some other Skazi tracks I like (Storm!!! Gumi!), and I would definitely be happy for a crazy Skazi track in the right moment at the party.
However, I think that his music got stuck in a way, and sounds too much the same (like it is with most trance artists). It sounds like it's being done to suit a taste of a certain crowd who expects it to sound like that. It also sounds like it's being done too fast and too easy.
The directions he took towards vocal tracks were a bit banal and uninteresting to me.
That said, Skazi is still (together with Void) for me the master of dancefloor traps and surprises.
I have a lot of respect for Asher for doing his thing the way he believed it and doing it all the way (even if it is very different from my taste).
All that I must say, is written without a clue of what Asher is doing these days musically, since I haven't heard anything new from him from a while, and since he plays in the kind of parties I don't go to, I haven't heard his sets for a few years now.
Now you can go back to discussions, but only discussions please! Thank you.

Firstly im glad asher did reply here....
@Ruberoid...bro who are u to define wat psytrance is??? If Asher thinks his style of music should involve Fishy rapping in it, so be it... Well since u think psytrance is dead, why dont u bring it back to life(heehhe considering ure a greater artist than asher LOL)... And boss, accept reality...Skazi has been more successful than u have at making music and making money...If u were to make 10 albums it wudnt sell as much as skazis first album did, dont try saying money doesnt matter....There maybe several people who hate Skazi, but so wat? He doesnt give a fuck(especially abt people like u who seem to target him) and will continue to make music in his own unique way, if uve got a problem, shove it and stop listening to his stuff(haha imagine wat he must be thinking of ure music)...cuz no one including Skazi wants to hear it.... Once you achieve wat asher and assaf have, then maybe ure point will hold good, until then, shut ure trap and get a freakin life(hehe no one here has even heard of u btw)...Peace(hehe)...

you dont measure an artist value on how much money or fame,, well i dont. to me what matters is how the ur music has been an influence in trance and that it has an evolution,,, . Sure skazi has had a huge influence on raves (specially young crowd), but has failed in evolving and seek for new fresh ideas. of course he doesnt mind critisism, he has his huge amount of fans like yourself, who i can see, have little taste musically.. i mean not to offend u but skazis music is rather dull and doesnt have the intelligent mixture of sounds im fond of,,, its just boom boom boom at random.. works on the dancefloor?? yeah for a while.. but when skazi is playing it time for me to take a rest, and wait for the next act...

@pixan, no i am not part of any of his fan clubs... u are obviously visually challenged as i clearly mentioned both at making music and money, not solely money... Well as your saying skazis music has not made an influence for long enough, however even in the short time it has made an influence, its magnitude was bigger than any other artist...Skazi-Animal influenced and hit the trance world with such a bang that it shaped the very way trance would sound from then...About the new ideas- cmon bro, isnt including a rapper into your music unprecedented? Its obviously a new idea, and like every other idea, some like it and some dont... And bro at the end of the day, at every Skazi set, however repititive u may feel his music is, leaves the crowd begging for more and more.... However just as u voice your opinion, so am i.... No offense my man....
