There was this big commercial party at a beautiful place called Corintian on top of a hill in Puneon this Saturday night. The entry was twice more then any other party which was suppposed to be cover charge but gave nothing in return. There was a big crowed to party who came because of the advertisements about ‘Skazi’ playing. But the organizer “havana entertainments” who have nil idea about organizing trance parties let one local commercial Dj play for five hours who bored everyone to death by his Vengaboys, Alice Dj and Darudes. The décor ad the ambient created was horrible with hell lot of bright disco lighting around. Not a single UV or a backdrop. But anyway after two a when Asher ( skazi) came it was pure energy and high charged music of his. He drove the crowed totally wild and showed what a pure dancing music is like. I must say I have not known many trance Djs who have perfected into mixing so well. But the organizer did not have a clue that this “foreigner Dj” whom they invited for attracting a big crowed will play such a “strange” music and the venue owner probably got scared or pissed off by seeing hundreds of youths dancing wildly and having so much fun.. So at five thirty am after just one and half hour they came and stopped the party. So we could hear Skazi only for 90 minutes. But anyway even if it was for short time it was worthwhile. It gives me a great hope for a bright trance culture becoming more acceptable here in Pune in the next years. |

my name is aditya from bombay
i just wanna know how long u hav been in the trance scene
and tht skaz was not got down to play in pune since fire n ice who r involved in getting him down let him play u shud b thankful to the organisers tht u got to hear 90 mins of his set atleast i know ppl who flew down from delhi bangalore and other parts of the country
u shud come down for infected mushroom the party is on the 30th of april
don miss it hope 2 c u there
