Check artist krshna prema das ,essence-radical raga volume 1,it is not excactly sitar insturment play,but the sitar echo is there,actually solo sitar playing more with percs and.....no words to describe just check and listen this awaesome multiplayer analogic electric music organ !!!

Anoushka Shankar is really good as well. She realeased an album with Karsh Kale, called Breathing Under Water. Loved a track from there called Slither. Really made the sitar sound electronically funky Here's a video where someone choregraphed a session to that song. Peace.

Ravi Shankar it the sitar spirit.I think I wont see him this life.Lets hope he'll record a lot new ragas.Great videos btw..Anoushka is great too.But her Father got a deep history and spirit connected to sitar must be a bliss of devine to ear it life.

Ey I scored megaphat, tomorrow I will hear and see Ravi Shankar together with his daughter Anoushka live at one of the best acoustic places in North America, Vancouvers Orpheum, sooooo stoked here. So happy I get to see him once more this life!

Saw Ravi and Anoushka Saturday night, at 89 years old Ravi still is the true grandmaster of the sitar. We were indulged in first contemporary Raga, then the last one they played was an old Indian Raga, absolutely divine. The best sound I have heard in years! It was absolutely amazing!!!
