hey..

well i have been succesfully making sets on traktor without too much of problem....the only thing i wanna know is..when i make a set it doesnt come as a singel track..it splits the entire set into smaller tracks..well its not too much of a problem on a cd nor while listening back on the comp..but is there any way to merge the entire set and only record a set in a way so that it becomes only one file...??

if traktor does not have this option then can i do it thru some other program...lemme know..

thanx in advance

With your mix loaded, pressing 'write' will let you export the mix as a set of copnsecutively numbered .WAV files that start and end where they were mixed in and out of the set. I think this is what you have been doing up to now; I can't find a way of getting Traktor to save the entire set as a single file.

Assuming you want to make a CD from your set, what you can then do is to load each exported file one after the other into a single track in a montage in Wavelab, making sure that there is no gap between audio files. Selecting the CD tab and pressing the CD Wizard button will allow you to automatically set up track markers so that each track can still be cued separately without introducing the standard 2 second pause between tracks. You can then burn a CD directly from the montage.           Mastering - http://mastering.OOOD.net :: www.is.gd/mastering

well...what i used to do is..in a cd while burning it i dont keep any pause in the middle of tracks..usually there is a 2 second gap which i avoid...
