Been listening to this a lot lately. The first album is great too (was released on Ishq's Virtual label), but I think I actually like this one even more. Fantastic release for lovers of deep ambience!           http://hermetechmastering.com : http://www.discogs.com/artist/Gregg+Janman : http://soundcloud.com/babaluma

He's got a third one coming out pretty soon too, but I agree, TWSS is amazing!

I listened through on bandcamp and i thought it was a more mature offering than the first album , which was a tad cluttered in the first half of the album (I'm being picky there though). This release is unhurried and beautiful, deeply beautiful in places. Sinepearl manages to veer towards new-age without being syrupy, like Ishq. Fantastic pad sounds. GOnna buy me a copy.

I'm still enthralled by it, listening every day, and can't wait for the new one. This album just gets better from start to finish. By the time the album is over I'm wanting it to never end. Definitely a classic!

Don't ever find Ishq "syrupy" myself though, not sure what you mean by that? Sinepearl obviously owes Ishq a lot, the influence is very striong!           http://hermetechmastering.com : http://www.discogs.com/artist/Gregg+Janman : http://soundcloud.com/babaluma

I think Spatialize meant that Ishq, like Sinepearl, veers towards the syrupy new age side, but never oozes over.

no cd, download only i'm afraid, but it's lossless, so you could burn your own cd!           http://hermetechmastering.com : http://www.discogs.com/artist/Gregg+Janman : http://soundcloud.com/babaluma

@babaluma. yes Mckenna's got it right. I just didn't write it very clear. Sinepearl is ultraclose to Ishq. What I mean is that it's sometimes a little tricky to make positive sounding ambient music that doesn;t sound twee. both sinepearl and ishq do this well.

indeed, totally agree with you! i just misread your first "not syrupy like ishq" in the exact opposite way you meant it!           http://hermetechmastering.com : http://www.discogs.com/artist/Gregg+Janman : http://soundcloud.com/babaluma
