Monster & Company presents an intimate night with Simon Posford, Simon Baring of Twisted Records and PUSH at the Knitting Factory. This is a very small show, buy your tickets in advance.
SIMON POSFORD: Fresh of a New Years Eve Younger Brother set in front of 5000+ people, Simon has decided to come play an intimate DJ set for New York before he leaves. This will be a Simon Posford DJ Set, this allows Simon to tap into every aspect of his catalog.
Opening for Simon is... Simon!
Yes, Twisted's newest artist Simon Baring, will bring us one of his DJ sets which will help warm us up for Simon Posford's onslaught.
Introducing PUSH!
PUSH: Deeply rooted in electronic and jam stylings, they continue to develop and evolve their sound. Incorporating everything from rock and hip hop to dancehall and dub, Push brings a nice catalog of original compositions balanced by an array of cover songs. They keep it moving in between songs by means of improvisational electronica, sounds that you could compare to a live dj or an alien abduction. They are working their way up in the ranks and are set on becoming a force to reckon with in the live jam/electronic scene.

To reiterate this point...
SIMON POSFORD WILL BE IN NEW YORK CITY TOMORROW NIGHT!!! He will be spinning everything from Shpongle, to Hallucinogen, to his Celtic Cross project, and even some Ott (hopefully).
This whole show was created over a pizza lunch in Brooklyn, NY and is sure to be a crowd pleaser for those who are into Simons music and who are into hearing some new stuff from the up and coming group PUSH.
Simon is so excited to be playing this show for his beloved NYC crowd. Those who want to get down to some of the best psytrance please come and join for this intimate preformance.

Thanks everyone for coming out last night. It was a blast. Simon had a great time, and it was nice meeting a lot of you for the first time.
More to come from Monster & Co in the future. We do things a little differently (Live bands and Trance together), and I hope some of you enjoy it. |
