Anyone know of any artists that combine great world music with trance similar to the way deep forest does?

But there's a whole generation of chillout artists doing this. check out Taruna, Kaya Project, or Adham Shaikh to start |

deep forest, came in a bit sideways from enigma, but I like the psy artists much better, Entheogenic probably being my favorite of the lot.

There is a whole genre of music with artists like Deep Forest. But first you may want to check out all the DF-like albums that Eric and Michel (of Deep Forest) have released
In addition to Deep Forest, check out Eric's Dao Dezi, Thorgal and Aral albums. Also Eric has more recently released music under the name Deep Projects and Deep Forest Eric Mouquet. Check Deep Brasil, Deep India and Deep Africa.
Michel on the other hand has the album Windows and Welenga (with Wes Madiko).
There is also Dan Lacksman who produced the debut Deep Forest album. He release Pangea (very similar to DF), E-gypt (Dan Lacksman's Alliance), Circle of Life (with Difang), and A Long Forgotten Future (from Aereda).
For music unrelated to Deep Forest, but similar, try these artists: Waterbone, Indigo One: ), Equa, Beautiful World, Ivan Kupula, Stone Age, Dreamcatcher, and Tya to name a few.
Because there is a good bit of variation between all the Deep forest albums, it helps to know which Deep Forest album you are hoping to find music similar to.
