It is I who plays that weird instrument...
I've never actually found out what its called! I first found a version of it in a little street market in Brasil 10 years ago It was made out of cardboard and fluffed up with silver and gold wrapping... it ended up falling to bits... I then found one from some people who import instruments from Asia... so it probably has a few names... Frogger?, Creaker?, Creeper?... don't know but it shure trips everybody out !!! Hehe!!!

it is not a kind of brazilian cuica?

Cuica is a brazilian special percussion, which is not really percussive, you have to pull off a wooden stick from the drum and it makes really special sounds like kwee-ka

"Rubbing the stick up and down produces a high-pitched squeaky sound"
