venue not to be used again,,,,, too much trouble with the authorities,,,, exp after 2 poeple died at the last event there (rock concert at new year)

Personally we didn't like the venue much,had a cold atmosphere and colder vibe.We had to constantly kick weirdos outta our tent and worry about our belongings and avoid the aggros on the dance floor.

i never been to a party ther myself but heard some good things about it but unfortunately bad ones too. like dodgy folks rockin up on the sunday sorta ( like pavillion) domintaing things gettin nicked that typo shit. |

i had one of the best times ever at silverstroom. 2001 Infected Mushroom. Snug as a Bug. Tyoshi Suzuki etc. they had the most f**k off sound system ever and in the mornings every1 was in the water or chilling the beach,watching the waves roll in. it was amazing. best venue i have been to. such a pity they wont be using it anymore. i heard that gangsters rocked up there at one party and were threatening people and causing trouble, fighting etc. possible reason why vortex dont want to have parties there anymore. |
