Silly novice logic question....

Hey all,
So I have an oxygen 8 midi keyboard and I want to have it control a vst or and effect. I have no clue how to midi map my keyboard to logic.... I feel dumb because I bought this keyboard and I barely use it because I don't know how to midi map it... Little assistance please??
Oh and I am running Logic 5.5 on PC

hello bro 
yes i had this problem too...
go to the environment page, and go to 'click and ports' (instead of audio or all objects or whatever, this is at the top left of the screen) then u will see the oxygen as a box and a keyboard and some other stuff....
connect the output from the oxygen to the keyboard (drag from the top plug on top of the keystation box and drop it on top of the keyboard icon)
then it should work
i had the problem that it would work on my default song when it loaded up but not on old songs... if you don't have it working on your default song then do the above and re-save the default song... then it will work everytime u make a new song

connect a midi cable (not supplied) frmo your keyboard to the soundcard.........read the instructions of the keyboard (codes) to programm the sliders.......
no installation needed if you are not using a usb cable....if you have more questions feel free to ask....... |

rename it to autoload.lso and replace the one in the root of your emagic/logic directory.
