"SIGNAL 12 follow-up album to their self-titled instrumental debut album is a definite progression in their musical evolution. In "Aphonia" Leif and Lars Hansen (founders of ONEIROID PSYCHOSIS) display their sophisticated blend of high-tech electronica and give it a more accessible pop twist with smooth textural grooves and the addition of live vocals. Among the 3 female guest vocalists are: Cat Hall from DISSONANCE (3,7, & 10), Kristy Venrick from THE AZOIC (10), and Shikhee from ANDROID LUST (1 & 10). Two of the album highlights are the fast-paced techno track (5) "Bye bye Biff" (included on Roadrash Jailbreak Sony Playstation) and the cover of the Cars "Moving in Stereo" which is sure to become a club hit.
"Aphonia" is a highly original and melancholic album that embraces very different stylistic genres: techno, pop, ethereal, electronic, trip-hop and melt them into a uniquely intriguing sound that constantly shifts and oscillates on the edge of unpredictability."
This is quoted from the "COP International" label website.. I know the track "Neuro Viewbox" featured on their first album thanks to the "Chillum Dreams" compilation.. This track is just great, and fits well with stuff like DownHill or this kind of "urban" spaced beats..
My problem is that i couldn't find any sound-sample of the albums.. so if anybody knows them and could tell me a few words about them..
Would be sweet..
