you can use sidechaining to basically give the sidechained element the groove of the sidechaining one.

so just be creative... if you have some sound and you are messing with it and think "gee would be cool if it grooved like that other channel" then go for it

You can sidechain kick and bass, bass and leads, leads and drumloops, drumloops and pads, pads and reverbs, reverbs and delays, delays and flangers, flangers and phasers, phasers and distortions, fish and chips, milk and honey, vodka and lemon, apples and oranges, oranges and bananas, anything really
Sidechain is our friend !

sidechaining is kinda overrated imo... its nice, but like all gimmicks it can get old... use with caution

neh , its still the best thing i found to amuze myself.
sidechain yourself (with mic) to cutoff or volume or anything...
fuckin killer trick , i can spend 2-3 hours on that lol...

drumloop to bpm was very nice trick someone mentioned here somewhere..

available (as far i know) only in the most amazing software FL studio (aka fruity loops)

insert fx>peak controler>link desired knob to peak > viola

if not good explain , fruity help file will...

volume peaks will send midi data

Pluggo and Mode plugin packs from Cycling will let yo do all sorts of funky control values to other values, very nice plugs too... recommended.
