Sidechain with FL Studio?

Hey peepz.
Anybody knows how a proper sidechain can be done using FL Studio?As i read in other places FL Studio doesnt support this feature but can achieve it in some other way...anybody wants to share his knowledge?

i think you can (altough i'm not a fl studio user). try setting each of the two tracks you wan't to sidechain to the same FX channel. then pan this tracks one to the left the other to the right... put a Waves C1 on the FX channel change the mode to L -> R or the opposite and compress it it will be panned to one of the sides so pan it to the center... try using the FX channel pan (if it has one)... if it doesn't work get a plugin that can convert stereo to mono... i think there should be some.

Thanks for trying to help mate but
i have no idea how to do what you have said in FL...tho i achieved a similiar effect with fl peak controller but a real sidechaining would be better.

use peak controller on kick... then use it to controll compressor on bass or on a mute fx dry/wet level or something else....

are you sure their own channels work in fruity?
cause i think that they dont.. havent tried though....because always thought that they dont work

Yes, they work. They are independent of the host.
