since sidechain depends on the signal there is no fixed variable besides of maybe an attacktime of 0, but not always.
but i have something:
after years of using sidechain obviously i am not more after this pumping effekt and look for something "invisible" which does the sidechain technically for the shine of a mix but is not that catchable and obvious. anyway the solution (you need a softknee-compressor) is very little ratio with an maxed possible softknee. even gain reductions up to - 10 db are not that realy obvious if the parameters are fine. |
