Sidechain compression on Logic Express 7

Recently moved to Logic exp 7 and been loving it.

Once i started to try more groovy basslines, i`ve started to search for a compressor with side-chain possibilities.
But so far i`ve found nothing.
Reading some tutorials made for logic pro 7, i've realized that the same logic compressor is available for both logic express and logic pro, but the Pro "version" has a pop-up menu with the "sidechain" option.

So, is it possible to sidechain compress only with logic express built-in compressors?
If not possible, any other possibilities?

i`ve also tryed with TC Works de-esser, but its version 3.0 and i`ve read that even in Logic Pro its Key Input feature only works from version 3.1 beyond..

Shite, i was so stoked with logic, but if its impossible to side-chain compress with it i`ll have to go back to reason, my groovy basslines simply doesn`t exist without it.

thanks in advance

tc also has the sidechainer and compressor in the native bundle for osx...

put sidechain on kick and tc compressor on bass, make sure key input is pressed and it should work... use ratio and threshold settings!! The issue with logic express is that this key input button slips every once in a way but u can tell immediately...

unfortunately express lacks the native sidechain from pro ...but i remember reading abt another way to do it in my logic tips and trick book, which is at the office, so will check again once its back and let u know..

hopefully the tc path works, its byfar the easiest!!

I've done some research on the topic about 1½ year ago, and found that it is impossible to sidechain in Express... only the Pro version of Logic 7 has this feature, unfortunately...

Raoul,
the version i own of TC native bundle is 3.0, so the "key imput" feature is never available..
i've heard that`s a bug, and from version 3.1 and on it starts working...
i`ll give it a try.
do you use it inside logic express?

thanx for the help anyway friends.
