Heyho folks!

I have got a problem....as I announced already in the headline, I have my problems with getting a sidechain compression to work in cubase 2.2! In Logic I tried it and it is no real problem! But in cubase? I can root the kick and for example a pad on one group channel and put a sidechain compressor on it... but how I can do it in that way, that the kick is the trigger signal and is not compressed to the ground until you hear an effect on the pad being triggered by the kick...in logic you can switch on the track the compressor should listen to as a trigger signal, but I did not found a similar function in cubase sx...
what is to do???!?? plz help!
