I use Reaper's native ReaComp for sidechaining, its easy as hell to use (easy so long as you understand the basic concept of sidechain compression). The demo version of Reaper has no limitation besides a nag without restrictions, you might want to give it a try; Reaper 64bit is less than 8mb total so there's no reason not to at least try it out
