Hi @all !
I changed to cubase sx 2.0 since last summer.
Everything went fine and I got to the point of working with it as quick as with 5.1
But now I really wonder how to do this wonderful thing called "side-chaining" with a compressor-group like i did it in the old version.
Any ideas around here ?

hey Booby,
very kind of u, but I have seen this manual already before but it doesn´t really work in sx.
If i set the left sided kickdrum via send and the right sided bassline directtly into the compressor group i get the bassline only on one side of the output group.
I used exactly the same settings as in vst5.1
Yesterday i had an interesting talk with mantik and he said s.th. about creating an additional group before the signal gets to the compressor group because of the sx stereo routing.
Aren´t there any plugins doing the job in one step ?

TC Works Native bundle , has side chain plugin . You need to put Side Chain plugins on two channels and open Compressor - Deeser from same pack to control them . I find it much easier than Waves . |
