i would allready jump on it the first day you posted , but i dont use ableton at all..
i bet you if you open the DAW for anyone to work with whatever they want it would get alot more response , most people here work with FL studio Cubase Logic and yes sure Live too but even if it was spreaded equally which it isnt its still just for 25% of the people around   www.sattelbattle.com

Nice way to promote the store and yourself, 10 points for your take on Digital Marketing (not kidding), this will go viral in a flash!
I use Ableton for live situations only, i agree with Elad's point of view, open the contest for the other daws and this will duplicate/ triplicate your contestants, make it all midi and let the fun begin

Yeah well. It didn't go viral, and after messaging all 30+ people that have applied, only 6 have responded and I've given it 2 weeks...
So if I would proceed at this moment, that would mean 6 contestants left that I know read my e-mails.
At this point, I'm forced to reconsider the Ableton rule aswell as the BPM Rule. These have been the things people have had issues with. I would need to extend the deadline though, because I have to collect midi-files for all projects and manage more contestants.

Side B - Next time you gonna do such investment, consider making a contest with some Vst developer, or other company in the business. It could yield much more contestant and you could make good future business relations.
I bet Ableton would be interested in any deal that would generate more sold copies.

according to your rules i dont see competition here
i see just a person who wants to see other artists projects
how come you ask from the artists to make 3 rmx's and to send u full live sets projects to you?
what you actually want to see? ... how they work? ... their eq's their compressors their way of building the arrangement so you can after apply it to your music.
I have participate in many rmx contest's not in psytrance only and i can assure you nobody asks the project, they ask just the track as audio file : wave, mp3, aiff
What is the warranty for the music the artists will make here on this contest?
Explain yourself better you give prize of 1000 euro to attract ppl and what after if the work just get forgotten after you get all the projects
No hard feelings just making sure if i apply i am applying for something which is really happening

Well, I have friends participating in the contest (Aladdin, Primecyde, Miranda, Hypnotic Ant) and I also have common aquaintances with Wizack Twizack.
Also, try picturing the shitstorm of bad promotion I would get if I'd try and hassle people.
I've now made it easier to register to the competition and at the same time accept the license agreemend.
The scoring system is also explained.

Any chance of giving more time to complete the remixes (delay the deadline)?
I want to do it but I'm sure my remixes won't be finished at May 17th...
