This topic made my day!
I loove the SID chip. So much that I bought a Sidstation a few weeks ago
I'm 33 and grown up with a Spectrum 16k then C-64 followed by a Atari. Time now to get back there
Here's a nice link to some original SID tunes.

In case you'd like to hear some not-really-psy-but-close remixes that I made recently of two old SID tracks, please check
http://remix.kwed.org
The tracks are Terramex by Ben Daglish and The Human Race by Rob Hubbard. I'm producing tracks there under the handle J Krafft.
I think their server is down at the time of writing this post, but it should be up shortly! |

I can remember recording the music to a game called 'Parallax' by Martin Galway.
That track was really trippy... it went on for ages and there was a bit towards the end that used to make the hairs stand up on your back! I seem to remember Fred Gray calling it 'LSD for the ears'.

Holy hell...
I used to listen to this all the time...
I had a program that could seperate the SID's channels and i just played it and played it with like just 2 channels or only 1 or like 4
Over and over
Totally forgot about it
