I say go with in search of a meaningful moment. There is much progress to be heard between the first and second albums of shulman. Enjoy           `Bottomless wonders spring from simple rules, which are repeated without end` Mandelbrot

You truly can't go wrong buying either one. I'd say starting with "Soundscapes and Modern Tales" will prepare you for the second album. The first seems a precursor to the second, giving you hints and tastes of what is to really come and flourish on the second. I myself could not imagine NOT either one in my collection.

Having got to know Yaniv directly a little, he's a great person and you can only expect more brilliant work to come from him. Quality assured. He did an excellent job mastering my debut Androcell album and I await his next Shulman album effort with the rest of you.

Mystery Of The Yeti And Mystical Experiences
The Mystery Of The Thirteen Crystal Skulls

These are phenomenal releases. Mystical Experiences is hands down, the most influential psychedelic downtempo ever, for me. When I first heard it in 1996, I was forever to be clothed in its rapture. TRUE, pure chillout music by two classic masters, Graham Wood (The Infinity Project, Blowfish) and Raja Ram, plus some early engineering endeavors by Simon P. I view it as the precursor to Shpongle really, and much better content then Shpongle IMHO in terms of a psychedelic dream quest. The Mystery of the Yeti releases came later and are brilliant as well. I can't sing my praise about Mystical Experiences enough. It is single handedly the most nostalgic piece of music (for me) in my collection. So glad they re-released this for people to discover an historic psychedelic musical gem. As for The Mystery of the 13 cyrstal skulls, if you haven't heard it before, you are in for a treat. Another prefect example of a good psychedelic "concept" compilation by TIPWorld label and the music does not dissappoint.

I'll second both Quasga's posts.

You should have both Shulman's albums- he's for me the most innovative musician in the psychedelic downtempo department.

And Mystical Experience is everything he said and more. This is really the first step in psychedelic chillout as we know it and it's just such a great journey.

All 3 albums are worth a very deep dive and explorations- you're headed into some good times
