can anyone explain the logic behind this? why would anyone in their right mind release the beija flor single only as a vinyl single? this has forced so many people to download it rather then legitimately purchase it, including myself. i protest this situation that i was pushed to participate in... i just dont get it... what were they thinking?

if that's so i guess im happy that it will be available one day on cd, but why do the same thing as prometheus with snakes and ladders? wait 2 years after the ep to put it on an album.... weird.           "On the other hand, you have different fingers."

It means the vinyl actually sells
There is a reason for putting out a single with tracks from an upcoming album... it generates interest/hype prior to the release, ultimately meaning good business for the label one would think.

Personally I just wish Twisted were making real covers for their wax instead of these disposable standard sleeves. I could not have a problem selling the 12" when the album hits since there's nothing remarkable about the appearance. Music is music. I got rid of the Snakes & Ladders EP when the CD came out. But I would be holding on to both if they came with some unique art of some kind... ah well, the economics won't work for this idea any longer labels do what they can to stay afloat.

Im in the same situation.... pretty stupid if u ask me

I mean... the track is just so brilliant and I wouldn't hesitate to buy the CD if it came out.... even if it only contained that song.            - The yeti loves to drink shnaps too, so he's like a real shaman... he, uhm, uh, if you want to contact him, you have to put some alcoholic offerings in front of the forest.

Antony Pappa is actually very good dj's. I never heard him live but his recorded sets are mostly very good progressiv stuff.
And Sasha's Involver is probably the best Mixed CD i've heard this year. You should check it and not only for his brilliant rework of Dorset Perception.          Everyone in the world is doing something without me
