there is different between "monday and thursday" and 1 cd every 6 months !

For those of you who haven't heard of brothomstates I suggest you get the track MDRMX from his album Claro...it's a really nice ambient tune with great cuts and clicks...the guy makes IDM stuff which really isn't that connected to the trance scene which is why I'm looking forward to his remixes the most...as for the other remixes well I have to say that I don't believe they will be quite as good...the thing is that to me shpongle is like this perfect trance/chill/world music/whatever project and with their tracks at the peak of perfection I don't believe anyone else can get to that level and make a better or equally good remix...apart from ott maybe whose album I found to be the best one of the year....so the thing is that all those artists shouldn't just do another trance/chill/world music/whatever remix with a rolling bassline in the background...that just won't cut it with shpongle...so I hope the brothomstates remixes sound like the rest of this guys stuff since he doesn't make trance/chill/world music/whatever
but then again maybe I should stop my bitchin and wait for it to be released

That's what I was about to answer U !! 
Because as long as I have no top favourite ultimate best of the best perfect "trance/chill/world music/whatever project", and that there are many artists able to tell beautifull stories.. I feel quite trustful in this release... and expect more than one track on it to be really nice..
It would be so sad IMO to consider Sphongle as U seem to do it, Dovla (no personal attack) because it would mean that it's totally unuseful to make some Music anymore.. because "perfection" had already been reached...
I don't believe that

I seriously love Brothomstates' music, some of the deeper percussion-based IDM with a lot of groovy clanging... Definately the remix I'm most interested in here.

simon played quite a few of these tunes @ samothraki @ his "chill out" set..
the eat static rmx is quite drum n bassish.. afai remember anyways.. i was quite drunk =)
the total eclipse rmx is the exactly same one that's released already.. (i think) ..
i never thought much of it but when i heard it from the samo chill out stage sound system it was pretty fucking good..
