Do you mean it sounds like something he'd write or did you actually recreate one of his tracks?
It sounded very good to me either way.
"...made it on a boring day..."
Are you one of those people who can produce music in their sleep?
Anyway, I have a technical question about it. The violins and flutes around 2:50 sounds real. The same - about plucked contrabass at 4:55.
Were they some audio snippets you picked up on a sampler CD (or somewhere else) or did you manage to produce them in your sampler?

Uh... What I meant was: did the whole phrase come ready made by some real flute and violine players or did you construct it from individual notes in a software? |

The original was written and produced by shpongle, I rarely try to imitate others. This was just a side project I did as I said on a boring day. I found it to be a fun idea and twist it up a bit.
I suggest you take a look at 'Shpongle - Aroung the World in a Tea Daze' most of the elements I used are directly from this track.
Some of the flutes I added myself with samples / vsti, the most prominent ones are sphongle's own.
The contrabass is also original but I have a few sections with my own contrabass structures.
Cheers

[/quote]Actually, I have found some exact loops from several Shpongle tracks right in my ableton package, I believe Si just used those, Raj told me to get Ableton, I did, and found some interesting familiar sounds..

Yeah many of the shpongle tracks from this period contains many samples. You can find them here and there in old sample cd's and romplers. Don't blame him though he fits them well into the texture.
Cheers.
