I was there.... fucking amazing. It rained the whole set which was a bummer as I was looking forward to seeing the sunset behind the band but beggars can't be choosers.
Simon announced they will be playing the hammerstein ballroom oct 28th with the full live band. |

I'm there!
I WAS a long time Bisco fan, but I didn't want to see Shpongle for the first time in that environment. Call me an elitist, but some of those bisco kids are just bad news.  www.dants.net |

Regarding the Bisco kids as "bad news" I have to say I was impressed with how many people were very aware of who Shpongle was... All I heard Thursday and Friday was people talking about Shpongle. I was very close to the stage, but everyone around me was REALLY into the set. A lot of people were wearing homemade Shpongle costumes or using Shpongle props.
Of course, judging by how many people cleared out after Shpongle played (as the Disco Biscuits began), maybe the majority of them weren't "Bisco kids" anyway...

I think you'd be surprised at how well versed the bisco crowd as. I guess i'm a 'bisco kid' even though i'm a grown man but this year's camp was not about the biscuits. I'd say about 20% of the attendance was there to see them. You might not even see the disco biscuits on the lineup next year, so i've heard.
The 'scene' has also cleaned itself up a bit. But with 'brostep' making waves, there has been a large influx of a certain tranquilizer, and many individuals who don't know how to properly dose such drug, as of late. |
