Shpongle-Vision!
'Beamed directly into your living room!'
The Shpongle event will be broadcasted LIVE on the internet! So for all you dissapointed people who are either too far away to join us or not quick enough off the mark to buy a ticket then you can at least watch the show. Benji Vaughan will be starting the show at 7pm GMT with a DJ Set and Shpongle are set to start their first ever UK live performance at 9pm GMT. Well I should be getting ready to go to a halloween party tonight but I've managed to start recording the live feed from the Shpongle gig, (I guess it's Benji playing some chill at the moment). However I've only managed to get the audio only in a very low volume as I'm no computer nerd but I'm keeping it Wav so hopefully it can be turned up OK.
Fingers crossed it'll keep working for when the stage fills up with Simon and co

The audio is total crap. Overmodulate(?) to no end. Plus hissing, crackling etc.

HOLY COW!
This was totally epic... totally amazing... totally ON!!!!
Shpongle layed down one of the most amazing live performances in the history of our genre...
best tracks were the first unnamed track with the indian dancer... DMT (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! my God !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
Around the World in a Tea Daze, Once Upon a Sea of Blissful Awareness....
Bravo Shpongle.. that was legendary!
I was at the first Shpongle Live (mt. fuji, 2001) and this was so much more polished and alluring...

What a nice psychedelic circus show full of joy and crazy sounds it was! It was a real pleasure watching the stream yesterday evening.
For all the people who couldn't listen yesterday:
I recorded the show and uploaded it on sendspace, but don't expect hifi sound, the stream quality was just too low. I also had to cut out some dropping of the stream.

I hope you can enjoy it nevertheless, there were a lot of highlights in the concert (except for some of the vocals by Michele Adamson who did not always find the right tone).

Was an interesting show. I was a little bit surprised, because I thought I got tired of Shpongle, but some, especially the new, unreleased track, that had kind of an evil atmosphere in the beginning of it (so not the one exactly at the beginning of the live act), made me interested in a possibly new album again.
