dorset perseption [low steps balearic breaks re-edit]
The feedback on this tune – the ‘Low Steps Balearic Breaks’ mix of Shpongle’s ‘Dorset Perception’ has been crazy; originally a re-edit that was done to play in the Lo-Step’s live /dj set, it’s speeded up breaks add to Shpongle’s existing latin mayhem giving the mix that essential X factor that has caused all the biggest breaks/prog. Dj’s to go mental about this underground legend. Sasha says it ha s been “the biggest track of the summer”, Big Up’s for track have also come from Nick Warren James Zabiela, Anthony Pappa, & Dave Seaman. The support has built up so much we have pressed a limited 12”[TWST23] of this highly sought track, which has become a classic after play in Ibiza and from Sasha and James Zabiela live recently on Radio 1 [Annie Nightingale show]. The single is released in conjunction with the Shpongle Remixed album [TWSCD23] is a showcase of Simon Posford’s [aka Shpongle/Hallucinogen] infinite skills and is completed by a track from their forthcoming third album, ‘Beija Flor’, due summer 2004.

Sounds nice. But I think I will wait to hear the Beija Flor track until the shpongle album is out so it's a complete experience... something

Finally some recognition from the mainstream,
I see it easily breaking the UK Dance charts, with the support from Dj's like Sasha, Warren and Freeland this one could go very well.

2. register so you can access the members area
3. start listening to the latest mix (the one from stockholm)
4. go to around 47:00

I find it funny how they state in the auction that the Low Steps edit won't be on the official release, when according to Twisted it most definitely will be on it. 
40.00 GBP....geezus. Why pay that when you can wait a few weeks and you can get it for 1/5 of that price?! 
I am definitely looking forward to this one, though....especially since Low Steps is aka Luke Chable & Phil K. Two top progressive producers, IMO.
