I read somewhere that Mr. Posford is concentrateing on a "sequal to the Lone Deranger" aka "New Hallucinogen" album. He has in fact already finished a few tracks. So I guess that we are not going to see/hear the "3rd Shpongle" for a while.
But then again quite a few Shpongle tracks have been released/are about to be released on various compilations:
