-Everyone who had a good start should continue.
-Everyone who had started making lots of messy stuff, but have the motivation to practice and be better every day, should continue.
-Everyone who had a bad start and just thinks he is a great muscician and just don't want any advice or is not opened for new ideas should definitely stop soooooon.

If/when I ever have kids, I'm going to put an instrument of some kind in his hands at a very early age.

It's certainly one of the better disciplines, I feel.

and i'm not paying for software. I fully think the developers deserve the money they ask for making genius software but this is only my hobby and i can not even affort monitors so i spent most of my time trying to equalize correctly instead of making beautiful tunes..
If i ever release a track and make a few pennies i'll give some to the developers.

I've only spent $15 on production software thus far. I'm planning on buying the synths I have found that I use a lot (didn't make much sense to buy a bunch of things while still trying to figure out what production is about). That statement I made was mostly because free software = more people have it. If there was no pirating it would be a bigger leap to start producing, so people would have to be more committed from the start.           http://soundcloud.com/ascensionsound

my opnion is that is no one bussines people lifes. Altought my opnion is that your job and my job really sucks cause i m here right know without nothing to do.

My other opnion is even if a person sucks in something, it doesnt mean he has to stop. Everyone who masterd at something i assume took a lot of hard work time and such things...so if someone sucks doesnt mean this person is not trying to get better.           ``We shall not cease from exploration - And the end of all our exploring - Will be to arrive where we started - And know the place for the first time.``

I just have one thing to say. This isn't just music we're talking about....
It's Psychedelic Trance. A journey out of the ordinary and into the depths of our consciousnesses and a battle with our egos (yes i do watch a lotta terrance mckenna stuff. haha).
Honestly, i think production, even if it means you're playing with a just kick and a clap, is simply fascinating.
I mean, if it were jazz or something we're talking about, i'd agree with the first guy. Besides, how good the production/musical attributes are, are left to the record label or the ones who choose to buy it to decide.
It's a free world man, the way i see it, we're part of a subculture that's entirely based on freedom and tolerance, aren't we? In fact i'd support anyone who wants to try making a groove.

I hate it when folk make fun of people's singing voices, because it makes people very self concious about something that's a god given right and expressively therapeutic.

I respect all who sing, even with machines.

Todays' electronic music is kind of folk music of 21-st century... It shouldn't be "professional" imho...

Thats quite ok. Availability of tools is great.           http://soundcloud.com/aedem

Should everyone produce? , sure why on earth not .. if you like the music , you gonna LOVE trying to make it , nevermind how it sounds , but i think these should be stricter quality control at the release level
