Shivlink Presents ESKIMO – Balloonatic Part 2
Over the last few years, UK based "ESKIMO" has risen to new heights in electronic dance music. At the age of 20, he is already in the 1st class artist list of psy trance producers and performers and now his music has attracted listeners from so many other genres that it is almost impossible to label him from any scene.
Originally listening to old rave music at the age of 10, Eskimo has grown up in the dance music scene since. Playing his first dj set in Tokyo Japan and the underground London parties as DJ JUNYA. Over the years of listening to so much electronic music it has given Junya an open minded view of the whole electronic scene. In 2002 Eskimo was launched, and now it was time for the production side of things.
Eskimo's first album 'Can You Pick Me Up' was released on his father's label (Phantasm) and his tunes are fast becoming recognized as some of the best in the business. From a cheeky assimilation of the Mushroom sound on 'Does This Look Infected?' to the superb Prodigy bootleg of 'Voodoo People', Eskimo's productions are starting to dominate the sets of psytrance DJs right across the globe. June 2004 saw his second album; a Japan-only release entitled 'Take A Look Out There’. At just 18, DJ Junya-Eskimo has played huge events just about everywhere the psychedelic sound attracts a crowd. Eskimo released his 3rd album Balloonatic part 1 in December 2005 & now he is ready with another bomb 2 release i.e. Balloonatic Part 2 his fourth album
He's already had tracks on Spun, Hommega, Phantasm, Nano and Enzyme, and has unleashed the Dynamo Project, with Israeli Shay Almaques.
Now Eskimo ¨live¨ has become one of the biggest performances that exists and continues to rock the biggest and proudest dance floors over the world.
"ESKIMO" could be the one to join 2 huge genres together..
