Hmm somethin botherin me, the interface of the website(not the forum).. i think it was better before.. more colorfull, more beaufitull n trancy now its boring orange n nothins excited n reminds things of the future.. i think its not good please work on somethin, the design is kinda bad for this really big international website.. look for example in this one interface "www.goatrance.nl" i think its new site, just check the interface n see how simple but kool excited upliftin psychedelic colors.. n not boring orange with just some boring bottons..
Interviews-=
I think you need to work more, just check when was the last interviews of artists n how many of.. somethin jus went down after the 'new' site was start runnin.. look for example on this one "www.psymag.com".. much more artists interviews with upcomin ones too n thts interstings stuff u know..
so im just givin some options to get better.. you can also show more news n make it more international home of the scene, more news from all over artists n stuff;
just givin some advices..
hope things will be done.. if the admins don hav time for it n the "time" of workin on stuff WAS in days n now u really got other things to do, u can always find younger dudes who just enter the world of trance n hav time n youn energies to spent for the psychedelic comunity's website n ones who knows about this internet stuff n can help with new thoughts of mind or, new things to add or to change to, or just dudes from all around who can make nice reportages, interviews or whatever.. just things that can help : ) |

I think Isratrance's design is super cool. No need to change it.
Besides, we do update the site, almost daily.
Check out the parties section for example.
There are some more updates on the works  |

i like design we have. it's superb, brilliant, unique and outstanding!! Also looks very modern.
the splash is an art of mind, simple and to the deal and inside cover-alike menu is a very nice too;)
i may only agree with you about some ergonomics in interface, but that's me and it's also looks almost like the old site design.
i appreciate what you wrote, but i don't look at other sites to see how and what's done
i am looking inside me and only. Of course we cannot satisfy all surfers need so we do understand that there would be some users who "won't get connected" but that's actually ok and unfortunately i won't change anything until next version would come...
if u were following our site last 5 yrs u could probably notice that we are ALWAYS going international and are the most frequently updated site around, meaning the frequency itself
also don't forget that till last year it was running only by 2 very busy people, all the way.

p.s. and btw i very enjoy read our guestbook ;-)

I have to say that the reason why I like isratrance's design is because it's not flashy and confusing like goatrance.nl which in my opinion is a cliche and just plain boring "goa/fractal" design. Dont forget that not all people entering isratrance and this forum are goa fractal freaks As a designer my motto is that simplicity = quality. I would hate to see isratrance turn into yet another outdated flashy goa site.
I believe the site should focus much more on the international scene than it does now. Simply because there's just as many if not more international visitors now as there's visitors from Israel. Today most interviews, party promotions ect ect. at the mainsite focus mostly on Isralie acts and DJ's.... That's a shame and for sure a mistake in my opinion. I am aware of that it's a site runed and hosted in Israel but it would be 100% better if it became 100% international without mostly promoting and favourising one country
A part from the above the site is great even with it's not always so appropiate restrictions - But that's something we just have to live with
One question? What happened to my idea about making a market section at the forum where you can sell your used CD's/vinyl's? |

Why so negative Surrender? Is it suddently not ok to come with suggestions that in my opinion would improve the site and traffic without having to see a sarcastic reply from you?

Then I think you have got it all quite wrong mate
I was not being negative at all. I was suggesting what I felt and still feel would be a good solution for isratrance in the future. Please stop trying to make me look like some negative monster that always only want to fight. I am aware of that you dont like me Surrender and that's ok with me but that does not mean you read what I wrote the right way. Maybe read it again now that you know there was no negativity from my side. Then maybe you'll see it a bit differently.
And I even put smiley faces deliberatley so the mods would understand that I was not out to fight or being negative. But I guess people see what they want to see ( a smiley).
