Hi, i want to know your opinion on this. Spending several hours in front of a shiny screen (Truebright, Truelife, ultrasharp, etc) dosn't make your eyes and head hurt, or feel tired? For long sessions in front of the notebook would it be better a matte screen? |

My new notebook is a glossy screen, and while the picture is definitely sharper, I prefer the matte. First off, it's glass, so it can break, and secondly, you do get a considerable amount of glare. Playing it in a dark club isn't an issue so much as when I'm working with lights on in my studio.
I would suggest the matte, but my laptop was such a good deal I decided to give the glossy a try.

Shiney sucks when you're on stage in the sun
