Hi guys I was wondering if anyone can recommend a plugin. I am looking for a vst plugin that shifts the sound forward or back by few milliseconds. One that does not alter the sound at all just moves it. I know you can do it manually but that can pose some issues.
So you can fine tune the synchronicity between sounds ?

Are you referring to the Haas type effect? Because that's more left and right as a posed to up and down?
In other words are you wanting to enhance the stereo field of two copies of the same sound or.....

nope nothing to do with stereo. I am talking about moving the clip forward or backwards in time by milliseconds.. like say you have a kick and bass that does not sound nicely syncd - you can slowly shift the bass clip forward until it sounds better synchronized.
well not really the clip itself, just the sound.
i.e. like a delayed effects that does not alter the sound at all, it moves it.. say normally the sound starts at 0.00ms - and after the plugin/effect is added - the sound starts at 0.10ms

Ahh I'm with you the above seems what you need then
Failing that Ableton has its own groove sync option or shift it manually on the clip channel section .. sorted really Devasya Savitur |

Yeah processing bass with any EQ will introduce time latency and every ms is important for nice sync between these two elements.+1 what Sonica said, also try to mess with phase.I use this simple plugin phase bug http://www.betabugsaudio.com/plugs.php or you could try allpass filter, dmg audio equilibrium has it. |

Using Ableton9. Been using FL for a long time so did not know about the track delay below each track, thnx Sonica and also to all the other comments.
The problem I have is that if you sync the kick waveform on the line and fill in say 2 or 3 bass notes on the last 16th notes it still does not sound complimentary to one another. However delaying the bassline by few ms starts to give you a better groove.
