for me it s not a nord, it can be done with a virus but it sound more like a vst. |

any synth will do.. i did with native fruity synth (3Xosc) im sure better vst can sound better also i didnt spend more then 2 minutes here..
you dont have to buy expensive synths , vst is great (i still have nord & korg tho  )

You can get some OK sounds with the Albino (But you need external distortion if you want to give them edge) but indeed, Vanguard has horrible oscilators. They manage to hide that quite well in the presets with all the effects but listen to the OSCs clean, they suck big time.
Here are some VSTs with better OSCs: impOSCar, Rapture, Z3ta+, Discovery (the OSCs alias but they can be used for some sounds), Blue, Hydra, Korg Legacy, FM7, Reaktor (when it doesn't rain ).
Some hardware with nice sounds: Virus, Andromeda, FS1R, Nord, MS2000, Z1, Radias, SH-101, PolyEvolver, Kurzweill, loads of vintage analogue stuff.

i got close with discovery, still somethings is missing.
you are missing poliphonia.
you can add warmth with tube/distortion/magneto.
also eq..give it a shine in the 8k-16k area.
undertow:the reaktor i like:)the others not so much..if you have hardware why not use it hihi..
and as far as the albino goes-after eq you dont have sound..if you dont want your mid area to be in charge of the trak(instade of the kik n bass).to me its a very bad instrument..even if its fun and easy.

I figured it out!!!
the Shift Synth!!!
it is the Korg Legacy Cell - Preset - Awaken Sign, Put a Nasty distorion, and cut out all the low frequencies...
and i mean a fuckin nasty distrtion!!!
