Hi ppl!
Iīve checked the forum, and it seems this topic was never discussed. Sorry if it was... 
I just want to share a nice program. Itīs called shell2vst. Can be found at http://www.xlutop.com/buzz/zip/shell2vst.zip
It lets u re-arrange plugins that works with shell. Waves for instance(I donīt know others). With shell2vst, u have all dllīs from each plugin. So u can just copy them to specific folder, or easily delete any plugin u donīt use. Good for those who are annoyed about such big waves plugins list. 
So far it seems to work with some of latest releases from Waves. But I do not use all plugins...
ps: as it come with not so clever info, hereīs how to manage the program: copy the shell2vst.exe to C:Progams and Files/Waves/WaveShell(location of all WaveShell dllīs u have instaled). Execute the shell2vst, then drag and drop each dll to shell2vst.exe icon. A new window will show u the convertion(when asked about overwrite, just type "N"(no)). U will end with a new Waves folder with all dllīs for each plug. Now move each dll to desired vst folder. And then delete all WaveShell dllīs from VST FOLDER(not the Waves folder). Thatīs it!

Waves comes with shell2vst by default.
If you have and use waves plugins, you should have shell2vst inside the waveshell folder.
Crackling universes dive into their own neverending crackle...

just a little up, just to say that after many searches, this thing made my day, allowing me to use Novation automap wirt waves plugins. (wasnt possible with waveshell) |
