so what is the most copying structure ? I have a musical background, even classical.
Really... I dont see there any typical structure like in rock or rap .Maybe it depends on artists you spent your time to their music I dunno..I guess therefor its psycedelic the area with no limits and no rules and no formulas.I can imagine just count the bars of some known "heros" with ego problems,is a way to copy one sturcture.Maybe many outthere who copied and so many songs seems to have the same structure. But i dont think that this is sth usual or of any big importance while creating an original tune-this have to come automaticaly the structure of a new dawn.Atleast I wouldnt go after a mathematical plan in bulidling a pycedelic trance tune.peace and eaze |

Its your opinion! Like i have mine..Lilla tomtenisse!
I really dont feel i have to defend my self or my music, i know its not the best quality, but im working on it!
Let me hear some of your music? .. I really hope you get the help you want, but right now it feels like no one is going to help you..
good luck with music creation!

There is nothing wrong in wanting to exchange knowledge. If its good knowledge it has value... and therefore you can call it secret its fine. I don't understand what is the fuss about.
If you go through the forum there are very little true good tips on how to achieve good stuff. So if the guys has something to offer in exchange of something else take it or leave it.
To Conny If you want someone to be interested you'd have to show what you are exchanging. A sample wouldn't be a bad idea.

True, but still there's a lot of structure in a lot of Progressive, Fullon and Dark tracks.
Especially on Progressive and Fullon I'm seeing the same structure and buildups over and over again.

I agree I even would say in each good track is a structure. Otherwise it would be damn boring after lets say 3 minutes if not much earlier. Each tune has its passages ,I only say ther is no typical particular structure. Its freedom you can invent your own structure,I even say that would be the best way.and of course its intelligent to analyse some tunes how them spirits created their story or structure or arranged it all if some passages come back maybe etc.A song without any structure is quite impossible to sound good I think. You completely right Djones. and..I see similar structures also again and again, and probably there is a most used structure.. but I think its more worth to create a completely own and sound design ,synthesis, harmony notes are more worth to learn more about it.Of course its all individual, maybe Connys tunes are just off the hook and this is the only prob..that could be.I would count then the bars and seperating them for maybe clear passages of a song, maybe that could work |

Big thanks for that link Freeflow.
Looks like some good stuff to digest and ponder.
Conny, you can always import an mp3 or wav file into Cubase or your DAW and arrange your track following the flow of the imported track.
Not a good thing to constantly do but it helped me to learn the different types of trance and their nuances.
Hope this helps,
Regards,
De Ja Vic
