what happens if you tell them you've got the flu and they say they don't care cuz they're also sick?

The you say that your infection might be a different genotype than theirs and that they risk getting even more sick, and that you're not willing to risk their suffering just for a sip of water/beer/whatever.
PS: If any of you ever meet me at a party, of couse you can have a sip! |

Once, a guy was in a club.
He needed to go to the toilet but he had his drink that he didnt want to leave unattended so he decided to leave a note near it saying '' I SPAT IN IT'' and he went on to the toilet having peace of mind.
Minutes later he came back but he was surprised to see another note standing next to his!!It was saying:
''ME TOO''
!!OLD!!

I’d say it’s a shame that so many people wouldn’t share some water if they are asked… In my view, this contradicts the basic principles of what a psytrance community is supposed to be, leave alone what the community of all people as a whole is supposed to be… You might say I am preaching utopian ideas, but I would suggest you to give a little thought to what we are as human beings. Germs and supposed drugs in water are lame excuses; the danger is not greater than from eating in a fast-food restaurant. You just don’t understand the concept of ‘sharing’. I feel bad for you. |

For my information: I always share if someone asks with a true smile. I never ask others for a sip. Only people I know. But IF the situatiuon comes, I wount have a problem asking a stranger for a sip.. But to ask people (that you don't know) on a "regular" club for a sip of a beer/drink/ect. Seems strange to me. Does people do that? I've (almost) never exeprienced that.

You should not ask for anything other then water because that is vital some times.

Yeah well I guess it's all up to how you want the community to be. For me it's be yourself and let everyone else be themselves. This has nothing to do with greed and everything to do with finding the idea uncomfortable. But go ahead and judge me.. I really don't care

I agree with this. And I am glad I don't have to refuse someone a sip of water to feel 'being myself'.

Just a notion. Its possible to get HIV if you share your drink with someone, but only if you and the other party have cuts in your mouths, and even then the possibility to get infected is very small.
But like I said, there's still a chance so, just in case, stop going to parties, lock yourself behind four walls and do not under any circumstances have anything to do with other people. Safety comes first right?
Ps. at the moment its better not to share your drink with birds either.
Sorry for my irony . |
