You don't need to be scared getting sick from the bottle after someone takes a sip, same goes for joints etc. Naturally there is a risk, but its very very very small. Besides we live in too clinical conditions anyway and as a result, for example, allergies are far more common nowadays than in the past.
To the question, if you really don't want to give a sip just say no in polite manner and that's about it, no drama whatsoever.

I know it's about having fun and I'm not worried about getting sick.
It's just a gross feeling that I'm drinking someone else's germs. And those people have shared bottles with a few more people, so it's like drinking their germs too.
And no, I don't smoke joints.

one thing is for sure, if you are at a club dont ever trust anybody, dont drink from bottles you dont know what they can contain..
especially girls!
so many crazy guys in this world,
i heard about a new raping drug, its a sterilizer for horses mixed with rohypnol or some other strong tranqulizer....
and the crazy thing is that this drug will sterilize for life!
Just use your mind and dont drink so much!

it's called ghb, it's a poison but it doesn't sterilize (that would really suck!!). here in swiss we've got reported cases of girls at parties getting drinks offered, accept, and in the other minute they become mind and willlingless. waking up a couple hours later in a different place, they notice they have been raped.
at parties when i get drinks offered by strangers, especially by guyz, i usually do ask if it contains any drugs before drinking. usually you can taste rightaway if something has been mixed into the drink.
if it's a cutie girl... heck, i don't mind getting "abused" 
and goat, just say no if someone asks you for sip. it's your drink, you paid for it, so it's your right to fully enjoy it by yourself.

Err well to be honest I don't have this problem with people I know. But if it's a total stranger I might go like "What I can't hear you?" and take a big sip while doing so. Then after that.. "Oh I'm sorry.. so little left.."  Or sometimes I just say say "Sure you can have the rest once I'm done" ..but I sure as hell don't hurry myself to anything. They usually stop waiting after a few minutes.. and I usually forget it anyways

About the ghb in glasses.. Just look at the eyes and the smile of the guy offering the drink and you know what to expect..
