There are the presets shortcuts that people who are beggining with Cubase don t know yet. That s the idea. Sharing any kind of knowledge is always a kind action, and although those tps won t help you experienced guys, some other people might like it.
My idea is: if lot s of people reveal nice preset shortcuts tips or give nice ideas about customizing Cubase, I d write a resume and post it...it would enhance people s time to feel as free as they can to create music with tools the software gives you to save time but sometimes you miss the
information.
So the important here is to feel free to create music, not to lose time on pressing lot s of keyboard comands when you might need pressing only one. If you think about a track takes us lot s of time, and we want t create lot s of tracks, you ll have an idea of how much time could we save if we make our workflow as simple and easy as we can. And one nice way to learn it is to listen experienced people working method, which doesn t means you ll have to copy, but it can give us nice ideas to make our own customized Cubase projects.
Here it goes a real nice, basic, handy tip:
Duplicating a midi or audio clip in the sequencer -
press "alt" and (at the same time) left click a midi or audio clip and drag it to any side.
That s the easiest way to duplicate a clip in the arrangement area. |

Of course. Just open the Key command window under File.
I can understand people sharing their own keybinding ideas but the default ones are all there to see for anyone willing to make the effort of opening that window ...
They are also in the getting started book/PDF.
