Hey guys...american people use to say time is money...he he...so let s share here the short cuts tips to make our jobs easier on Cubase Sx (maybe this thread will become the father of the short cuts..uauuu). Don t get shy if you think people will know your tip. POst it as long is hasn t beeing posted and let s give the begginers a chance too:
1- Select a midi note s group on the sequencer and press "p". Then you ll have your loops points in and out exactly located on this midi note s group. Handy... |

Another one:
Suppose you want to listen to a 16 beat pattern on loop, just select that pattern & press Shift +G on your keyboard & it'll automatically place the markers and loop it for you..

Also check the 'key commands' in one of the drop-down menus in cubase, there you can find all shortcuts, which you can modify and supplement. I just looove those import- and export-audiofile shortcuts...

Is there any way to set up a control such as:
mousewheel = scroll vertical
ctrl+alt+mousewheel = zoom vertical
It would be very handy! |

What's the idea of sharing shortcuts when anyway everyone can change those shortcuts for their convinience?
Shortcuts are individual for everyone ... or maybe I'm missing something and would be delighted to get an explanation.

Amen !
@ ichabod: not sure about the mousewheel, it may be named scroll-up/ scroll-down or something like that.
