sorry but i think this wont help any much, because compressors and eq are signal processors and its parameters depend on the signal. like trackspeed, rythmspeed, dynamics, mud-frequences etc.
generally psy basses need to be percussive and solid. compressing works as a hard limiter here, but thats not a must! |

does any1 actually work from prepackaged compressor/eq patches?
I tailor each comp eq 2 the sound and effect desired. nothing prepackaged or reused. |

i make a new comp patch every time... A comp patch that works on one track doesn't necessarily work on another, even if they are both basslines... |

I just have default settings that I like to start with but each time when I use EQ or compressors is different. Just like Kitnam said, depends on the signal and what you want from it.
Equalizing and compressing is not a permanent equation, its different from sound to sound. Dont stick to presets , instead, learn how to compress and eq and get what you want!
(coming back to learning table myself...)

Read some tutorials man, u wont need presets for anything...
Eq and compression is very personal, learn what works for u.. and the sound your trying to create... im sure theres loads of info around this forum, if not google it.
