Hello everyone, Here's a shape shifting full-on track that I finished today. Not yet a final render yet. Waiting for your feedback n opinions to make changes and spice it up.

I like it. Clean and sharp production with very nice drive.
But still as in your previous track, the bass sounds a bit louder than it should be in my opinion.
A friend told me once that the biggest mistake we make is that we believe we live, when in reality we are sleeping in the waiting room of life.

Hey Alex... yeah.. I have the same issue with most of the trax... time to get some decent monitors... but can't afford it as of now. Gotta try n carry these trax to some of my pals with monitors n tweak this. Thanx for listenin n ur suggestions as well. Peace.

Getting descent monitors is going to help only if they have a quite descent price as well. But before that I think you should check the acoustics on your room. Acoustic treatment is the key for any audio set up to perform well and most of the times it's never given any or the proper attention.
I suggest that you check this first because the rest of your mix sounds quite right. So your bass "problem" could very well be because of your room's acoustic properties.
Another thing you can also do for this track is to make another let's say 3 versions where the only difference will be the volume of the bass which would be decreased by 1db in each version. Then you can post it here and check it out what's the right one. This way you'll have a better point of reference on your next track knowing that probably in the final mix you should lower the bass volume a certain and known amount without only guessing.

Nice suggestion, Alex. Will do that. Will upload a diff version tom with bass levels reduced and also with a minor eq tweak n let u know. Yeah... there r lotsa things to do when it comes to getting a decent rig at home. Here in this country things r way too xpensive
