This party turned out great, I'm sorry you think the opposite.

The Second stage had *ZERO* budget so everything that was brought there was out of the goodness of our own pockets.

Sure we got there a little late, but realistically *ALL* of the equipment and deco was put together in a matter of 6-8 Hours.

I had no prior notice that I would be driving 600+ miles gathering all the gear from various parts of california to setup the 2nd stage until the day of...

Yes! There should have been more planning... but for what it was guys...

This Party Kicked Mucho Culo...

It is what you make of it.

Sine Cera,
Johann.

Thanks 4 letting me spin too, shit was wiggy-fun.

Thanks Shaman Films and friends for making this weekend happen.
The organization could have been much tighter, and the sound set-up for the main stage was, um, disappointing and frustrating to the artists i could see. Sadly, many of the acts scheduled to play canceled last minute.
But the Fire Walk ritual was amazing, things like this really help build and strengthen community. Also the location was beautiful! I felt like the dance floor was balanced on some giant ball at the top of the world. We were so close to the sky, we could witness the stars falling from the sky - I saw so many shooting stars i couldn't count! And oh so nice to reconnect with friends. Didn't do much dancing this time round, but had a great time nonetheless.
thanks

really enjoyed myself at this party though it certainly was a mix of good and bad....the sound was frustrating and general organization wasn't stellar but i know guillermo did all he could with limited resources while many artists dropped from the lineup....complaints are valid but i wouldn't be so hasty to boycot future shaman films events, everyone should be given a chance to redeem themselves...

besides that the fire walk was a deeply satisfying experience, the location was gorgeous and i had a wonderul time with dear friends....thanks to everyone for being there and making the magic happen...

one downer is that i left my favorite black sweater on the stage so if anyone found it please email me: catalyx@mindfullproductions.net

Hey everyone.. No need to point out what others have said, my observations are the same as what's been posted.. This was guillermo's first big party attempt and those are always a serious challenge. I've seen people completely melt down during events that they organize. It's not easy work at all and my hat is tipped to those involved for making this event happen, and I wish guillermo the best in organizing future events. I just went for saturday morning and afternoon and I had a nice time..

However, like catalyx, I left behind something very special to me and I pray that someone picked it up. It's a wool knitted hoodied jacket, black with green trim on the sleeves, sides and hood, and a small pocket on the left sleeve. It looks kind of "trancey" for lack of a better description. It's my baby, and I left the party without it. If anyone finds it, please email me, mattb@wageslavery.org and you will reap your rewards in heaven.

I too, left some things behind. On the main stage my long brown jacket and a purplish-blue scarf, also my camera that I have been collecting pictures on for months now was in the jacket pocket. If this was found could you please let me know.
Thank you, teryn tjgrew54@hotmail.com

i had a great time at this party! all i can say is wow! the location was amazing. the mountains, peacocks, cows, horses, chickens, lamas, deer, bunny rabbits, and the shooting stars!....definetly a priceless experience that simply can't be replicated in any nyc event that i'm used to.

thank you to all the cali trance-heads for being so hospitable. and to all headliners: ocelot, audiopathik, parus—nasty! killah! sweet! monstah!

fernando: awesome deco as always. you worked so hard and it definetly paid off.

k-fire: great to meet you. was good to see you on the dancefloor for all of saturday night and sunday morning.

kuku: so good to see you on the west coast. will see you in nyc soon.

rebecca: you're a sweetheart. miss you already. mike and i will definetly stay in touch. hopefully see you soon. please send us pics when you get a chance!

guillermo: status? intense.

i, too, lost some stuff on the mountain. my cd case and cellphone (razr). two very important posessions which i am sad to have lost. please email me at workday@gmail.com if you happened to find them. thankss.

hey thanks for Guillermo and crew for trying their best and keeping their word.
the location was great- beautiful sky i might add...
the decor was really nice. the fruit on the dancefloor the next morning was a nice touch-
the mainfloor sound needed work- (mostly to tune the crossover and unplug the graphic eq... the actual amps were crest and the crossover ashly- just a matter of tuning)

i saw only happy faces- everyone seemed really happy to be there.

some great sets- especially Parus- in the night
AudioPathik tore it up - madness
Olowanpi had two appearances!
Leo stormed us with Russian psy

hopefully Guillermo and Crew will make a party again and build on this momentum. i can imagine it will gain force and people with time. nice one. keep it up.

great party. the location was something straight out of a movie! New York is all urban sky scrapers, smog and light pollution. I haven't seen such endless hills. Never in my ENTIRE LIFE have I seen that many shooting stars.

West coast people are awesome! I made a bunch of new friends.
Guillermo- Thank you for writing this story, it was unforgettable. Thank you for everything.
Fernando- awesome deco. Thank for reassuring me of my set in the morning.
Mauricio- gracias para todo whey!
John- Your help in the beginning of the party was invaluable. Dude I have your black sweater man... thanks for letting me rock it though, I was cold
Rebecca- You made every night! Thank you for everything!! The food, the ride to the airport, energy (on the dance floor and off), etc. You have to send me pictures.
Leo- Good lookin on picking Russ and I up at the airport. Awesome morning set!
Kuku- You made me laugh so much! Ill find you all on tribe.

Analyzer, your opinion is your opinion, but your post is misleading. For the record, Nikon did spin. He helped open up Saturday night, and his set was sick, props. All other djs and artist tore it up. Hats off to AudioPathik.

I witness first hand that the west coast really know how to party. See you all there again some time.
