Has anyone heard this yet??? I was a huge fan of "Dub Side of the Moon" though not a huge fan of "Radiodread." But THIS...is pretty awesome! Of course, I got lots and lots of enjoyment out of this album when I was much younger so I am very much enjoying this reincarnation. Thought I would post one of my favorite tracks, the sound is appropriate for this forum.
"Within You Without You" by the Easy Star All Stars
We were talking-about the space between us all
And the people-who hide themselves behind a wall of illusion
Never glimpse the truth-then it's far too late-when they pass away.
We were talking-about the love we all could share-when we find it
To try our best to hold it there-with our love
With our love-we could save the world-if they only knew.
Try to realize it's all within yourself
No-one else can make you change
And to see you're really only very small,
And life flows ON within you and without you.
We were talking-about the love that's gone so cold and the people,
Who gain the world and lose their soul-
They don't know-they can't see-are you one of them?
When you've seen beyond yourself-then you may find, peace of mind,
Is waiting there-
And the time will come when you see
we're all one, and life flows on within you and without you.

Dub Side of the Moon is indeed great.
Radiodread is really bad.
This song sounds good, will check it out for sure.

Those World music influences and the beats somehow remind me of Thievery Corporation. Which is a good thing
I like it a lot!

I saw that this was being released. Loved Dub Side. Radiodread had its moments, but not enough of them.
I'm looking forward to hearing this. Hiopefully it'll ge picked up in some local shoppes.

easy star rec is a great label.
radiodread was not my cup of tea but they keep their quality on high level.
i know the mastering room that made this remix album, and it sound great...
i was happy if it was with more "duby" feeling

i like radio head
i just think radio dread versions was ... how to say...
some not exactly "fun to listen"
there was 2-3 tracks there that got good movement and atmosphere and you feel the dub feeling in it.
but this is only for my taste of course
i sure many others out there think it is a great release, so ...
who am i to judge ? Check out my music page - free music , new style and more :)
